ABOUT ME

I'm going to be completely honest, I have no idea how to write about myself. So I am going to write this as if I were only a bystander to my own life.

How to describe myself... I sometimes wish I was a character in a novel, whose life could be planned out in chapters and pages and word counts. That had a definitive character arc and beginning and end.

Instead, I settle for creating these people myself, and I have been doing this since I could type.

I remember the first book I tried to write:

I was about seven years old and I remember sitting at my mother's Toshiba laptop, cracking my knuckles like I had seen in an old French cop movie, and I began to write perhaps the worst mystery novel of all time.

It featured a brown haired, blue eyed girl whose mother went missing. And guess how she found her mother...with Find my IPhone.

And even though I could visibly see my mother cringe as she read it, and it was all of five pages long, it was the beginning of an addiction, one that I hoped would last my whole life.

As I grew older and matured, so did my writing.

However, nine year olds do not have that much money to constantly go to Barnes & Noble, so I stumbled upon Wattpad.

But I was still too scared to show my work to people outside of my weekly writing workshops.

Until the Winter of 2015, when I was snowed in for weeks. And I picked up my laptop and wrote my very first novel, "Octavius".

I had only expected to get maybe a hundred reads, maybe a few comments here and there.

But much to my surprise, the views kept climbing and the votes rolled in, and soon, I had 1 Million reads.

I cannot express how many times I died from complete and utter disbelief.

And then another milestone, I reached #1 in my genre.

Now, I am blessed with my thousands of followers and my (currently) 4M reads, and how my works have expanded to several other books.
